July & August 2020

This opportunity is open to all emerging and aspiring authors living in Canada who have not yet published a full-length book or had a professional production. We especially encourage submissions from underrepresented groups.

Selected authors will be invited to participate in a virtual workshop where they can read passages from their work and get personalized and group feedback. As authors and educators, we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for writers to share their writing and ideas. We expect all workshop participants to be respectful of each other and to express ideas and opinions in a polite and constructive manner. Anyone not adhering to this will be removed from our virtual meeting space.

Please send up to 10 pages of your work (double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman or Garamond) along with a short bio, brief description of your work, and contact information in a single WORD document or PDF to choipottle@gmail.com or share a Google doc link with us using the same email address.
